Shane Peterson

Founder

Shane has been a home inspector for 9 years, receiving his initial certification and license in 2012.  With over 3,000 Indianapolis Home Inspections completed, he started Home Experts of Indiana in 2021. He is certified to provide continuing education for Realtors.  He is a consultant for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.  Through his efforts with these and INHP, Shane has been a part of the gentrification of Central Indiana

Tom Jacobi

Tom worked for several home builders before joining Home Experts.  He has completed several remodel projects and is a “Jack of all Trades”.  He became a home inspector in 2019 and now has over 100 Realtors referring clients to him.  Tom has trained home inspectors and helped them to become certified and licensed. He is knowledge and experience makes him the “go to” for inspectors when they have that obscure finding.

Kit Gentis

After four years in the Army Kit received a degree in construction management from Indiana University.  He then put that education and experience to good use doing mission work.  Much of that work in the inner city of Louisville KY and disaster relief all over the world. Kit became a certified licensed home inspector in 2020.  He is as comfortable inspecting a home in Indy built in 1860  or a new home in Westfield.  Clients feel that his being the father to four young kids makes him particularly good with kids.

Luke Schofield

Luke was an electrician before he became a home inspector.  He is the electrical answer man for the inspector group.  Living in Franklin, Luke does the majority of our Indianapolis Home Inspections south of I-70.  Luke receives the most positive reviews.  Adjectives like, thorough, patient, and detailed are often used.

Trevor Fritz

Trevor came to Indiana from Florida.  He worked for a roofing and siding company before joining Home Experts.  He is still the expert resource all inspectors rely on for questions in those areas.  His smile and easy going personality are immediately noticeable by clients.   His excellent people skills are often complimented.

Brad Wolf

Before becoming a home inspector, Brad honed his customer service skills at Crew Car Wash and Starbucks.  Yes, he was that smiling face you may have encountered.  Wanting more of a career, Brad became a certified licensed home inspector in 2020.  Approaching 1,000 Indianapolis Home Inspections, Brad is popular among clients young and old.  It may be the hop in his step or helpful nature.

Cindy Alcorn

Marketing Manager

Cindy honed her organizational and presentation skills with Mary Kay Cosmetics.  She began marketing    Indianapolis Home Inspection in 2013.  She earned a fabulous reputation for building relationships.  Her “Under commit and over deliver” spirit and helpful attitude has helped her become a “Go to” associate in many MIBOR chapters.
